The hard part of giving art is not taste, it is commitment. A print goes on a wall the person looks at every day, in a room you may not have stood in for a year. That is a lot of certainty to assume about someone else. Everything below is about lowering the stakes rather than guessing harder.
Start from a place, not a style
Most people find it much easier to say what they love than what style they like. A coast they go back to, the city they trained in, the garden at the house they grew up in. Gifts chosen by subject land more often than gifts chosen by aesthetic, because the meaning carries the picture even when the palette is not quite what they would have picked themselves. Size: err smaller than you think
A gift has to fit a wall you did not measure. Most works here come in four size tiers, and some add a diptych or triptych; panoramic pieces have no size choice. The middle of the sized range travels furthest: large enough to be a real piece, small enough that it does not demand the one big wall above a sofa. Portrait and square shapes fit more rooms than a wide landscape, which usually needs a specific spot. Frame neutral
The frame is the part most likely to argue with a room you have not seen. A slim black or natural-wood moulding with a white mount sits comfortably in almost any interior, modern or period. The deeper and more decorative mouldings are wonderful, but they are a choice best made by the person who has to live with them.

Ask. A print chosen together is a better gift than a print returned, and framed pieces are made to your chosen size, mount and moulding, so we cannot take change-of-mind returns the way a shop selling ready-made goods can. Leave time
Framing takes three to five working days, then two to three business days with the courier — five to eight business days in total. For Christmas, the last order date is 11 December 2026. We deliver to mainland UK addresses only.
